I know Garfield minus Garfield was the one that got a real book and everything but Garfield without Garfield’s Thought Balloons is way funnier to me.

Especially because John can’t hear Garfield’s dialog so what we see in these strips is the actual canon this s actually the shit this man does with his fucking cat.

Shit, I have to agree. This works way better for me.

First part of my 400-something part series of Game of Thrones house sigils reimagined as traditional-style tattoos. I do intend to do at least all of the major houses (including a vanilla Baratheon), but these are the only ones I’ll have finished until the series returns in April.

Weasels Ripped My Flesh!!

Man’s Life, September 1956

Cover art by Wil Hulsey (credited as American Art Agency). The inspiration for Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention’s album Weasels Ripped My Flesh. In 1970, Zappa approached Neon Park, an artist with the famed San Francisco design group Family Dog and handed him this magazine to use as inspiration for the album cover art.

Much like Art Frahm seemed obsessed with celery stalks and women’s panties dropping to their ankles in public places, Hulsey seems to have a peculiar fascination with daring, adventurous men attacked by animals…

Oh yes.
